Overview
The IT Cloud Infrastructure Engineer is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining secure, scalable cloud and on-premises infrastructure to support the organization’s technological needs. The ITCIE plays a key role in safeguarding systems and networks, delivering robust SaaS, cloud, and security solutions, and driving technology initiatives that position the company and its partners for success. Base pay range
$120,000.00/yr - $140,000.00/yr Job Responsibilities
Champion a cloud-first approach in designing, deploying, and maintaining infrastructure and applications to advance organizational goals. Document and automate IT workflows, including authentication, authorization, and SaaS integrations. Lead technical initiatives, mentor team members, and facilitate cross-training on key infrastructure functions. Collaborate with Information Security to implement identity and access management solutions. Develop and enforce infrastructure architecture principles, standards, and server build/configuration guidelines. Administer and troubleshoot systems (Windows OS, SAN, Exchange, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, etc.), ensuring high availability and performance. Conduct capacity and performance analysis, lead patch management, and oversee change/release management processes. Research emerging technologies and recommend solutions that optimize cost, adoption, and standardization. Drive continuous improvement in team processes and align infrastructure with IT service objectives. Preferred Qualifications
Advanced proficiency in Windows Server administration (2012–2025), Active Directory, and infrastructure automation (Terraform, Ansible, Azure RM). Hands-on expertise with cloud and virtualization platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP, VMWare, Hyper-V). Proven ability to implement and administer MDM, SSO, MFA, asset management, and VPN solutions across Windows and Mac enterprise environments (including JAMF Connect). Familiarity with network and system security and monitoring technologies (SonicWALL, Palo Alto, Meraki, Juniper Mist, HPE SimpliVity, CradlePoint ECM, PRTG). Strong understanding of authentication and provisioning protocols (SAML, OIDC, SCIM, API-based workflows) and multi-factor authentication solutions.
