Our jConnect team is excited to offer an opportunity for a Network Engineer II. The ideal candidate will bring strong network support experience, a sharp instinct for diagnosing complex technical issues, and a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions in a fast-paced environment. This role includes frequent interaction with both internal teams and external customers. The position serves as a technical escalation point for the support team, handling complex and high-impact issues. As a technical escalation point for the support team, the Network Engineer II will take ownership of challenging cases and lead advanced troubleshooting efforts. Location and schedule
This is a remote position, and candidates must live within approximately a 70-mile radius of our office locations in Allen, TX; Lenexa, KS; Springfield, MO; Monett, MO; Birmingham, AL; Cedar Falls, IA; Louisville, KY; or Charlotte, NC. The position will follow hours from 8:00am CST to 5:00pm CST. All positions, regardless of location, may require an onsite interview or in-person onboarding to verify identity. Responsibilities
Deliver network support and customer-focused solutions in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Provide expert-level support and guidance to external customers, ensuring a high standard of service and satisfaction. Take ownership of challenging support cases from initiation through resolution, maintaining accountability and clear communication throughout. Correspond with customers and other divisions within the company to ensure all customer concerns and issues are resolved in a timely manner. May perform other job duties as assigned. Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in network engineering. Strong knowledge of BGP (Border Gateway Protocol). Strong knowledge of VPN. Current CCNA certification. Strong communication skills: written and verbal. Nice to have
CCNP certificate. Experience in virtual cloud environment. About the role and growth
