Retail Store Associates play a meaningful role within the CVS Health family. In a retail setting, you will work independently and as part of a team to positively impact customers and their healthcare needs. The Retail Store Associate position offers a growing, high-impact, customer-focused role that supports daily store operations and customer service. Essential Functions

Providing differentiated customer service by anticipating needs, demonstrating compassion and care, and resolving potential service issues. Greeting customers warmly, maintaining eye contact, and assisting with locating items as needed. Accurately performing cashier duties including handling cash, checks, and card transactions following company policies. Maintaining the sales floor by restocking shelves, updating pricing, and completing inventory tasks as directed. Supporting opening and closing store activities when required. Providing customer support to all departments (e.g., photo and beauty), ensuring departments are stocked and operational with updated services and tools. Assisting pharmacy personnel as needed, including opportunities for growth and career development. Promoting CVS services and loyalty programs to support the company purpose of helping people on their path to better health. Qualifications
Required At least 16 years of age. Remaining upright on the feet for sustained periods and ability to lift up to 35 lbs occasionally (up to 10 lbs frequently; negligible force routinely). Visual acuity to perform activities such as reading and viewing a computer terminal. Preferred Previous experience in a retail or customer service setting. Education
High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred but not required. Hours and Type

The typical pay range for this role is
$16.50 - $22.00
per hour. This range represents base pay for positions within the job grade and may vary by experience, education, geography, and other factors. Benefits
