20 hours/week, Evening shifts, 5 PM - MN. Weekend work required: Sat/Sun 11:30 AM - MN.

Location:

Tampa Outpatient Care Center, 12220 Bruce B Downs Blvd.

Salary Range: Minimum 52.02/hour - Maximum 80.63/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.

Responsibilities The APP provides patient centered, specialized, evidence based nursing care across the continuum through an inter-professional approach to treatment, research, education and advocacy. APPs are board-certified providers that assume responsibility and accountability for health stabilization, promotion, and maintenance of acute and chronic illness or injury. APPs contribute to the goals of the department by being accountable for the delivery of compassionate and safe care within the scope of practice as defined by the Florida Board of Nursing and JHACH policy. APPs assume responsibility and accountability for health stabilization, promotion, and maintenance of acute and chronic illness or injury under the supervision of a physician. Through collaborative practice with all members of the care team, this role is responsible for patient outcomes that meet the high quality of care provided by JHACH.

Qualifications

Current Florida State Licensure as an APRN, PA

Clinical MSN or DNP, PNP-AC, PNP-PC or FNP for APRNs or Masters in Physician Assistant studies

Current BLS and/ or PALS

Current National Certification as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner-Acute Care, PNP-PC or FNP or PA; One year of Emergency or Urgent Care APP experience required
