Peachford Hospital is the leading (and largest) free-standing psychiatric hospital in Georgia. We are looking for Registered Nurses who have experience or an interest in Mental Health Nursing to help us meet the needs of the community. Responsibilities

REGISTERED NURSE - RN Crisis Stabilization/ICU - High Acuity Pay Mental Health/Psychiatric/Behavioral Health/Addictive Disease Peachford has been a leader in behavioral health and addictive disease treatment since 1973. Our 246 bed hospital treats nearly 10,000 children, adults and seniors every year who come seeking the best psychiatric care available. We are looking for a master’s prepared therapist for our Child and Adolescent Program - Next Time and in our Adult Services Program. We seek candidates dedicated to providing high-quality compassionate care. Our hospital is on a 38 acre wooded campus in the Dunwoody neighborhood of North Atlanta; over 500 employees call us home. Our Crisis Stabilization Units have several staff nurse positions open on a variety of shifts and include an additional ICU pay differential and other incentives for working with this high acuity population. We train you to be the best, but there are a few minimum requirements for this position: Education Graduate of an accredited nursing program Experience Prefer one year of nursing experience Certifications/Licensure State of Georgia or eCompact MultiState Nursing License Other Helpful Skills Written and oral communication skills Skills in case management Skills in time management Knowledge of acute psychological disorders and abnormal psychology Familiarity with follow-up resource services available to patients Skills in maintaining information as highly confidential Ability to treat all age populations or develop skills through cross-training Ability to clearly summarize pertinent clinical information via written correspondence and medical records documentation Pay Transparency
