Texas Health Physicians Group is pleased to announce a full-time opening for a Cardiovascular Physician Assistant to join a team of leading diagnostic and interventional and non-interventional Cardiologists in Dallas, Texas. This is a great opportunity to work closely with board certified physicians who have a reputation for excellence in diagnosing and providing innovative treatments for cardiovascular diseases.
Position Details
Full time - 40 hours per week
Clinic and hospital rounding including ICU rounding and management of cardiology patients
Electronic Medical Records
Assess new consults in the clinic and hospital
ICU Rounding
Nuclear, Stress Tests, Echocardiograms all on site
Multidimensional approach to cardiac and peripheral vascular therapies

Requirements
Active Texas license
Physician Assistant Board Certification and experience
Degree in PA studies from an approved physician assistant program
1-3 years of Cardiology experience required
Education Master's Degree Physician Assistant
Experience 1 year as a Physician Assistant. Preference given to candidates with Cardiology experience.
Licenses and Certifications PA - Physician Assistant; must maintain board certification as required for licensure. Upon Hire
Skills Active listening and learning, critical thinking, reading comprehension, effective communication, time management, judgment and decision making.
Supervision Individual Contributor
ADA Requirements Working Indoors 67% or more; Mechanical Hazards 1-33%; Electrical Hazards 1-33%
OSHA Tasks involving exposure to blood, body fluids, or tissues.
