MRG Exams
Overview
Join to apply for the Audiologist - Bangor ME role at MRG Exams. This is an IN-PERSON position that offers 1 hour to 1 hour 30 minutes per patient, with no evenings, no on-call, no weekends, and no hearing aid sales. The position involves performing medical assessments on United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process. The Veteran files the claim before the appointment and all medical records are available in a computer portal for review during the appointment. The Audiologist will conduct a Maryland CNC Test and Puretone Audiometric test and will complete a Disability Benefits Questionnaire (DBQ) in the computer portal. This DBQ forms the medical evidence that allows the VA to decide the veteran’s benefits. The Audiologist will NOT prescribe any medical treatments or devices. This position is expected to review and assess 3-6 Veterans per day on average. Responsibilities
Review medical records uploaded in the VA portal during appointments. Conduct Maryland CNC Test and Puretone Audiometric test. Complete the Disability Benefits Questionnaire (DBQ) in the computer portal. Assess 3-6 Veterans per day on average. Adhere to the stated schedule: Part-Time, 2-3 days/week. Work in person with the specified patient care expectations; no prescribing of treatments or devices. Qualifications
Au.D and graduation from an ASHA Accredited school. Current license as an Audiologist. Meets the credentialing requirements set forth by the VA. Benefits
