PRN, Per Diem Shift:
7a-7p, every other weekend (Sat/Sun), and potential PTO coverage and night shifts available. Location:
AdventHealth Palm Coast Parkway, 1 AdventHealth Way, Palm Coast, FL 32137 The Role You'll Contribute Performs Radiographic and CT imaging procedures. Positions, moves, and transports patients. Performs clerical duties. Assists Radiologist in performance of special imaging procedures. Performs basic patient care within scope of practice and to departmental standards. Participates in standby call. Adheres to the Florida Hospital Corporate compliance plan, rules and regulations of all local, state, and federal agencies, and standards of accrediting bodies. The Value You'll Bring To The Team Performs Radiologic and CT imaging procedures. Positions patient and equipment and selects technical factors to produce radiographic images meeting Radiologist’s standards, in a safe, timely manner. Processes radiographs with correct patient demographic and examination information. Uses computer to enter and access patient information correctly and change procedure status and billing. Performs clerical duties, including answering telephones and completing patient records. Utilizes department computer system as needed for patient record keeping and scheduling. Transports, lifts, moves, and positions patients as needed to properly and safely complete radiographs and assist movement within or to and from the department. Prepares and administers radiographic contrast material as directed by the Radiologist. Starts IVs when needed. Moves, positions and manipulates stationary and portable radiographic equipment to safely complete procedures. Selects proper technical factors and operates equipment with attention to radiation, electrical and mechanical safety.
