HealthPark Medical Center is seeking an experienced Nurse Leader to join their Antepartum Team. We are seeking a collaborative leader with strong performance improvement acumen and a passion for the specialty. The ideal candidate will have applicable leadership experience and a BSN; a Master’s degree in nursing or a related healthcare field is preferred. Responsibilities
Manage a defined area of organized patient care services. Actively participate in organizational leadership functions and collaborate with other leaders and medical staff in designing and providing patient care and services. Allocate available resources to promote safe, efficient, effective, and compassionate nursing care. Provide input into executive level decisions and keep staff informed of executive level activities. Direct patient care staff to promote quality nursing care and a culture of safety on an ongoing basis. Ensure consistent nursing standards guide the provision of nursing care. Serve on the Nursing Leadership Council to provide clinical perspectives and advocate for staff, patients, and families. Direct and coordinate patient care within defined responsibilities, in accordance with the American Nurses Association standards and Florida Nurse Practice Act. Qualifications
Education:
BSN required; Master’s degree in Nursing or other healthcare field preferred. Experience:
Previous experience in Nursing Leadership required. Certification:
Certification in Nursing Administration or appropriate specialty preferred. License:
Registered Nurse currently licensed in the State of Florida. Other:
Knowledge of current theoretical approaches to nursing care. Ability to contribute to developing and implementing organizational strategies to improve care. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage budgets within defined areas of responsibility. Benefits
