Job Overview TransUnion is seeking a Contingent Workforce Consultant to execute strategies that effectively manage the company's contingent workers, ensuring compliance with company policies, applicable law, and optimizing the use of contractors to meet business needs.

This role supports the Employee Relations and Human Resource Compliance Center of Excellence and collaborates with business leaders, HR Business Partners, and cross‑functional stakeholders to administer the company’s Contingent Workforce Program.

What You’ll Bring

4+ years of experience in contingent workforce management.

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.

Strong knowledge of employment laws, requirements and practices regarding contingent workers, including worker classification requirements and contingent workforce risk and compliance strategies.

Familiarity with global contingent workforce management standards and regional requirements.

Proficiency with HRIS and procurement systems such as Workday and Coupa.

Certification in Contingent Workforce Management (e.g., CCWP).

Proficiency in workforce analytics and reporting tools to support data‑driven decision‑making.

Adept with Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP.

Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills with a keen eye for detail.

Ability to work independently and cross‑functionally to achieve business objectives with polished communication and influence skills.

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a global environment.

Impact You’ll Make

Provide full lifecycle support for contingent workers, including workforce needs assessments, onboarding and offboarding, performance concerns, and extension reviews.

Serve as the main point of contact for TransUnion’s Contingent Workforce Program, providing clear guidance on policies and procedures.

Support development and execution of legally compliant contingent workforce standards and procedures, staying current with best practices, industry trends, and evolving regulatory requirements.

Create and distribute resources, including guidelines and process documentation, to ensure consistency and clarity in the management of contingent workers.

Regularly monitor and analyze the program’s performance using data and stakeholder feedback to identify trends and risks, inform decision‑making, and drive continuous improvements.

Optimize processes and systems, ensuring accurate recordkeeping for contingent workers in the company’s workforce management systems.

Collaborate with global teams to support adaptation of corporate processes for regional deployment and use.

Assist the Employee Relations and HR Compliance CoE with adjacent work, including policy and process updates, regulatory reporting, and responding to informational requests.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Compensation The U.S. base salary range for this position is $78,750.00 – $131,250.00 annually. The salary range reflects a reasonable estimate of compensation for this job. Actual compensation considers additional factors such as education, training, work experience, job‑related skill set, location, and market considerations. This is a regular, full‑time non‑sales position eligible to participate in TransUnion’s annual bonus plan and may also be eligible for long‑term incentives and other payments based on applicable company guidance and plan documents.
