The role is for a Multi-Modality Technologist 2 (Harmonized) in the Simpsonville Five Forks ED and involves performing duties related to two imaging modalities and supporting clinical workflows. Responsibilities
Perform duties for two modalities within the imaging and/or cardiovascular technology fields (e.g., XR, CT, MRI, ARRT, RDMS). Operate equipment and be knowledgeable about workflows, procedures, and processes for two modalities. Select imaging sequences with consideration of approved protocols and data acquisition parameters when appropriate. Obtain patient clinical history and relevant lab work, ensuring information is documented and accessible to licensed practitioners. Use of Point-of-Care (POC) device for lab work where applicable. Apply safety principles to minimize risk to patients, staff and equipment, and maintain image quality. Qualifications
Education : High School Diploma or equivalent (required); Associate\'s Degree (preferred) — for imaging modalities, preference is from an ARRT-accredited program or an approved Nuclear Medicine Technology program or an approved School of Ultrasound/Medical Sonography. Licensing & Certifications : Certification and Registration with ARRT or RDMS or CNMT or CCI or ARDMS (required). Competence or registration in 2 of the following and certification within 12 months: Bone Densitometry (BD), Breast Sonography (BS), Radiologic Technology (R), Computed Tomography (CT), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MR), Ultrasonography (S), Nuclear Medicine (N), Cardiovascular Interventional Radiography (CV) – grandfathered, Cardiac Interventional Radiography (CI), Vascular Interventional Radiography (VI), Mammography (M), RDCS/RCS/RCCS, RVT/RVS/VS, RCES, RCIS. State licensure preferred (where required by state). Basic Life Support (BLS) required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred at hire and required prior to direct patient care in Cardiology units. Experience with 1 year in a healthcare environment (preferred). Experience & Skills
