Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Molecular Genetics Technologist to join our dynamic team in Denver, Colorado. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of molecular genetic techniques and assays to support our clinical and research efforts. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art laboratory, contributing to cutting-edge advancements in molecular genetics. Responsibilities
Perform DNA and RNA extraction from various biological samples. Conduct PCR, qPCR, and other molecular genetic assays for diagnostic and research purposes. Analyze and interpret molecular data, ensuring accuracy and reliability. Prepare and maintain detailed documentation of procedures, results, and findings. Collaborate with laboratory personnel and other team members to ensure smooth workflow and regulatory compliance. Assist in the development and validation of new molecular assays and techniques. Troubleshoot technical issues related to molecular genetic assays and instrumentation. Ensure proper maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment. Participate in quality control and quality assurance programs. Stay updated with the latest advancements in molecular genetics and related technologies. Other duties as assigned. Bachelor’s degree in Molecular Biology, Genetics, Biochemistry, or a related scientific discipline. Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a clinical or research laboratory setting. Proficiency with PCR, qPCR, and nucleic acid extraction. Certification as a Molecular Genetic Technologist or similar credential. Familiarity with Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS). Prior experience in a clinical diagnostic laboratory. Valid Driver’s License and Proof of Insurance. Must be authorized to work in the United States. Preferred Education & Experience:

This is a part-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday. Expected hours are 12:00 PM - 6:00 PM Mountain Time. Travel: This position requires minimal travel.
