We’re partnering with a leading organization in search of a
Certified Payroll Manager
to oversee multi-state payroll operations and lead a small, high-performing team. The ideal candidate will bring deep Paycom expertise, a strong command of Certified Payroll, and a passion for driving process improvements across the payroll function.
What You’ll Do
Oversee and manage all aspects of payroll processing, compliance, and reporting for multiple states
Lead and develop a payroll team of two (Payroll Administrator and Certified Payroll Specialist)
Ensure accuracy and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including Certified Payroll requirements
Partner with HR, Finance, and Operations to streamline processes and enhance efficiency
Manage Paycom configurations, reporting, and system troubleshooting
Lead continuous improvement efforts to strengthen internal controls and elevate payroll operations
What We’re Looking For
3+ years of recent, hands-on Paycom experience (system management, configuration, and reporting)
Proven leadership and process improvement experience
Strong multi-state payroll background
Certified Payroll (Davis-Bacon / prevailing wage, LCP Tracker) experience required
