Accounting Clerk
to join our team. We are a hospitality-focused organization that values hospitality, respect, authenticity, and a positive impact for internal and external stakeholders. We are a growing team of hoteliers and restaurateurs operating across locations and brands. Job Duties and Responsibilities
Review the work of Night Audit Staff, General Cashier, Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable Review the daily processing of cash drops and preparation of deposits Assist with monthly house bank audits and distribution Verify coding of accounts payable invoices and review the status of accounts receivable and daily deposits Assist in monthly account reconciliation of balance sheet accounts Assist with research on billing issues Assist with month-end tasks and run and electronically save standard month-end owner reports Ensure all reports are stored in compliance with the established retention period Provide clerical support to Accounting Management as required Perform various other duties as assigned to meet business objectives Education and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent required Bachelor's degree preferred, preferably in Accounting, Finance, or Business Education 1+ years of accounting experience preferred, preferably in a hotel environment Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Proficient in Microsoft Office, with strong Excel skills Ability to read, write and communicate effectively; strong verbal and written communication Strong mathematical skills and problem-solving abilities Ability to maintain confidentiality of guest information and hotel data Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions Ability to comply with local, state and federal laws and regulations Job Details
