Overview
As a Lab Engineer within the Project client's Environmental Test Lab, you will serve as the technical execution bridge between engineering and technicians. This operations-focused role will respond to and triage issues, develop troubleshooting guides, and develop processes to ensure smooth test execution. You will be a key contributor to building a reliable, efficient, and autonomous test operation. Responsibilities
Floor Support:
Provide direct technical support to technicians during test execution, helping resolve issues in real-time. Assist with fixture and equipment setup for both production and development testing. Runbook Development:
Create and maintain troubleshooting guides for common issues with chamber hardware, software, and peripheral systems Non-Conformance:
Guide non-conformance reports through the resolution process, coordinating with engineering teams Process Improvement:
Identify opportunities to simplify work procedures and improve productivity Operational Readiness:
Ensure all necessary tooling, fixtures, and support hardware are prepared and calibrated Basic Qualifications
3+ years of experience in a test environment OR 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment and an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field Strong troubleshooting skills with mechanical, electrical, and computer systems Preferred Qualifications
Proficiency in test automation tools (LabView, Python) Experience with MES systems
