Our client, a major owner-operator of global midstream infrastructure, is looking for a full-time Engineer II, Tank Integrity to be based in Houston, TX.
Base pay range
$120,000.00/yr - $130,000.00/yr

Position Summary
This Engineer II, Tank Integrity position is an intermediate-level engineering role responsible for supporting the Tank Integrity Program.
Responsibilities Tank Integrity Program Support
- Supporting the implementation of Tank Integrity Programs
Evaluating and continuously improving Tank Integrity Programs through investigation, recommendation, and implementation of new technologies
Reviewing tank inspection results with Tank Project Managers to determine repair options and recommend a repair scope
Researching background of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for program evaluation
Coordinating and reviewing tank failure and metallurgical analyses reports
Ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and participation in regulatory audits
Using tank integrity inspection and analysis tools such as API-Risk Based Inspection to determine inspection scope and strategies
Data Integration & Management
- Facilitating Tank Integrity data integration within Buckeye’s GIS database, Corrosion Control database, and/or other applications
Risk Management & Mitigation
- Managing risk analyses and developing risk prevention/mitigation strategies
Stakeholder Engagement
- Identifying and involving stakeholders for key decisions and preparing Management of Change (MOC) work orders
Project/Program Management
- Developing budgets and monitoring maintenance forecasts and expenditures related to the Tank Integrity Programs
Department Support
- Providing support for Asset Integrity Team members
And other duties as assigned
Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Chemical Engineering or related field is required
Typically, 3-6+ years of relevant experience
Required Skills Proficiency using Microsoft Office applications
Customer-focused attitude and ability to function as a team player
Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory codes relating to tank integrity management
Preferred Skills Engineer-in-Training or Professional Engineer certification is highly desirable
API-653 or API-510 certification, or equivalent experience, is highly desirable
Other Skills, Attributes and Abilities Excellent communication, both written and verbal, and strong organizational skills
Strong analytical skills to resolve business and operations problems and ability to consult with users to provide technical assistance
Well organized with the ability to keep accurate records and provide status updates
Essential Functions Ability to safely and successfully perform essential job functions consistent with ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards
Maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with applicable standards
Compliance with all personnel policies
Pay range and compensation package Salary Range: $120,000 to $135,000
Annual Bonus: 15%
