About the Role We are seeking a seasoned AWS Connect Architect to join our Center of Excellence (COE) team. This role is ideal for a hands-on cloud architect with deep experience in AWS infrastructure, cloud-native applications, and infrastructure automation. You will lead cloud migration and modernization initiatives, enforce best practices, and collaborate across DevOps, engineering, and security teams to deliver scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Architect and implement complex cloud solutions using AWS services, including AWS Connect.
Lead cloud migration and infrastructure modernization projects across enterprise platforms.
Develop and enforce best practices for cloud security, cost management, and performance optimization.
Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployments using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and AWS CloudFormation.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize cloud environments using AWS-native and third-party tools.
Collaborate with DevOps, development, and security teams to support cloud-native applications.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and cross-functional teams.
Stay current with AWS innovations and recommend adoption of relevant technologies.
Required Skills and Experience
Eight or more years of experience in cloud architecture with a strong focus on AWS
Proven experience with AWS Connect, CloudFormation, Service Catalog, and Terraform
Deep understanding of cloud computing, cloud migration strategies, and cloud security frameworks
Strong background in DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
Experience with performance tuning, cost optimization, and monitoring tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, and AppDynamics
Hands-on experience with native cloud applications and event-driven architectures
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Financial Services experience is highly preferred
Nice to Have
AWS Certifications such as Solutions Architect or DevOps Engineer
Experience with HashiCorp tools, Kafka, or other messaging and event platforms
Familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements in financial services

Compensation and Benefits The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is:
140,000 - 160,000 .
Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting. This range may be subject to change as permitted by law. The actual compensation offered may fall outside the posted range and will be determined based on multiple legally permitted factors.
In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional compensation such as variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions, depending on the position and applicable laws.
