RH is seeking a Tax Associate to play a key role in our dynamic tax operations and technology initiatives. In this role, you will gain balanced exposure to income tax compliance and provision, income tax audits, and domestic and international tax planning to form a rounded technical foundation. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead income tax compliance, provision processes, and domestic tax planning initiatives with external tax service providers
Own estimates, extensions, and deliverables from external tax service providers
Partner with cross-functional teams including Accounting, Finance, Legal, Treasury and with all levels within the RH
Support and manage transfer pricing calculations, journal entries, and audit documentation
Participate in international tax expansion planning and various ad hoc projects
Own account reconciliations and Blackline system certifications
Develop deep technical expertise in tax technology platforms and serve as the subject matter expert (SME) of the following: Microsoft Power Pivot, Power Query, Power BI Oracle ERP, Smart View, Essbase, Analytics Cloud Vertex for sales and use tax
OUR REQUIREMENTS
3+ years of corporate tax experience with public accounting or comparable industry experience
CPA is a plus
Working knowledge of tax preparation and tax research software
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with a strong track record of meeting deadlines, managing multiple projects and adapting quickly to shifting priorities as business needs change
Effectively plan, organize, and complete work independently while meeting deadlines
