Overview
Senior Engineer responsible for workstation software packaging, deployments, vulnerability remediation, and security patching. Part of a larger team delivering high-quality Computer, Network, Storage, and End-User Infrastructure technology solutions with ongoing business support. Independently completes infrastructure project assignments, researches, evaluates, designs, and engineers the enterprise's technology infrastructure. Produces technical documentation for support and configuration, manages and maintains technical platforms including system upgrades, and monitors system performance while installing and configuring hardware. Collaborates with Project Managers, Architects, Solution Engineers, Technicians, and Business Analysts to deliver consistent technology solutions aligned with architecture standards and best practices.
What you’ll do
Improve and maintain the Windows workstation patching process and cycle.
Actively verify and apply security patches.
Develop and maintain documentation for MECM/SCCM procedures and system configurations.
Create and deploy application deployment packages through MECM/SCCM.
Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts to automate day-to-day tasks.
Drive vulnerability assessment and remediation work, including escalation support for workstation-related issues.
Adhere to IT governance and Change Management procedures.
Maintain and monitor the MECM/SCCM platform and client health on workstations, mitigating identified problems.
Verify that all endpoints are included in the MECM/SCCM inventory.
Perform routine audits of workstations to ensure compliance with established standards, policies, and configuration guidelines.
What we’re looking for Infrastructure Engineer Senior (SG7): Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related technical field is required. Experience: 5 years of relevant work experience required (equivalent combinations of education and related experience may be considered).
Infrastructure Engineer Principal (SG8): Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related technical field is required. Experience: 7 years of relevant work experience required (equivalent combinations of education and related experience may be considered).
