Overview
Orange & Rockland Utilities, Inc. is leading the clean energy transition in New York and New Jersey. The Program Manager will work with internal and external stakeholders to support the clean energy transition in alignment with regulatory directives and the Company's Clean Energy Future. The Program Manager is responsible for implementing the Company's energy efficiency and demand management programs and oversees the design, operations, administration, budget, marketing, performance analysis, regulatory reporting, process improvement, and customer and stakeholder engagement. The Program Manager is responsible for overall performance of the programs to achieve energy savings and demand reduction targets for the Company. The Program Manager directs the program\'s processes, functions, internal program team, and/or vendors/contractors responsible for the implementation of the programs. Base pay range
$140,000.00/yr - $150,000.00/yr Responsibilities
Commits to developing a proactive, customer-centric culture to foster trust and confidence among customers and improve value for all our stakeholders. Manages the Company\'s energy efficiency/demand management programs and oversees the design, operations, administration, budgeting, marketing, performance analysis, regulatory reporting, process improvement, and customer and stakeholder engagement. Implements energy efficiency, electrification, weatherization, demand response and decarbonization programs and tracks performance to achieve all clean energy objectives and goals. Supports internal program team and external vendors/contractors responsible for the implementation of the programs. Develops, issues and evaluates RFPs to secure implementation vendors to support energy efficiency, demand response, electrification, decarbonization, and weatherization programs to achieve program goals. Coordinates with all program managers to align program initiatives, streamline performance, and gather internal and external stakeholder support to meet regulatory directives. Develops collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders to maximize benefits to the Company. Supports the growth of the programs through activities such as marketing, training, and communications with customers and market partners and the development of innovative program design solutions. Speaks publicly on behalf of energy efficiency and demand management initiatives as appropriate. Manages clean energy professionals to achieve the Company\'s Clean Energy commitments and regulatory CLCPA goals. Performs other related tasks and assignments as required. Qualifications
Required Education/Experience
Bachelor\'s Degree with 3 years of related experience, or Associate\'s Degree with 5 years of related experience, or High School Diploma/GED with 7 years of related experience Relevant Work Experience
Experience in the energy efficiency or clean energy industry, required. Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and stakeholder engagement skills, required. Strong oral and written communication skills, required. Ability to work in a high-pressure environment and navigate complex initiatives, required. Planning and organizational skills with attention to detail, required. Interpersonal, networking and people management skills with the ability to drive results through collaboration, required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), required. Experience in energy efficiency, demand management, demand response or other competitive, market-driven utility programs, including project and process management, preferred. Experience managing relationships with partners and contractors, preferred. Public speaking and technical writing skills, preferred. Licenses and Certifications
Driver\'s License Required Professional Engineer (PE) Preferred Additional Physical Demands
The selected candidate will be assigned a System Emergency Assignment and may be required to work non-business hours during emergencies, including nights, weekends and holidays. Must be able and willing to travel within O&R service territory, as needed. Seniority level
