Perform a variety of mechanical duties involving deck machinery, engine room work, electronic equipment, staging work, testing, steel/pipe work, general dock, rudders, shafting, wheel work, and anchor chain work Operate equipment for assembly and installation Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on facility machinery Build/inspect scaffolding and staging Work with Cranes, Winches and Cargo Booms Work a variety of shifts (1st shift 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, 2nd shift 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm, 3rd shift 11:45 pm – 7:45 am – shifts may vary depending on site and workload) Required Education, Experience, & Skills
High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience Able to wear appropriate protective gear Able to physically perform essential job duties with or without accommodations Able to work at heights, in confined spaces and have the ability to climb staircases and ladders of varying sizes Able to read, write and comprehend simple instructions Able to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions in written, oral or diagram form Able to calculate and understand units of measure, including fractions and decimals Know how to measure using a scale and tape measure Ability to read a micrometer and dial indicator One or more of the following certifications may be required consistent with business needs: Forklift certification Dynalift certification Payloader lift certification Extender boon forklift license and certification Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $59,800 - $91,645 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
