At Reframe Systems, we are on a mission to make net-zero carbon housing more accessible and affordable. We design and manufacture modular, high-performance boxes in our Andover, MA factory. These modules are delivered to jobsites, assembled into custom homes, and finished by skilled carpenters. We are scaling our presence across the country, and you will be a key part of that growth. What We're Looking For
We are seeking a
Construction Supervisor
with strong carpentry skills to manage site work, home delivery, and finishing. This is a hands-on supervisory role that works with traditional building methods and our modular construction process. Must have an active Unrestricted Construction Supervisor License (CSL) in Massachusetts. Multifamily residential experience is preferred; extensive ground-up residential construction will be considered. Bilingual Spanish or Portuguese is very valuable. Responsibilities
Subcontractor Management:
You will be the primary point of contact on the jobsite, responsible for all subcontractors from the first shovel to client move-in, including coordinating surveys, excavation, site utilities, foundation, cranes, rigging, carpentry, and final finishes. Employee Management & Training:
Lead and train company carpenters, providing daily work lists and guidance to ensure quality and productivity. Jobsite Safety:
Act as the designated Jobsite Safety Officer, maintaining a safe working environment for all personnel and visitors. Project Coordination & Communication:
Maintain clear communication with clients, inspectors, subcontractors, and neighbors. Daily Documentation:
Maintain a detailed daily log with photos and notes to ensure a complete project record. Scheduling & Planning:
Partner with the Project Manager to maintain a four-week lookahead schedule for materials, labor, and logistics. Quality Control:
Deliver a finished, high-quality product with the support of the team. Risk Management & Project Closeout:
Identify potential risks and support closeout activities, including punch lists and warranty documentation. Licensing & Inspections:
As the license holder, apply for permits and coordinate, prepare for, and manage all site inspections with municipalities. Qualifications
5+ years of experience in ground-up residential construction. Deep knowledge of building means and methods. Proficiency with construction apps on computers/tablets (e.g., Procore or Buildertrend). Active MA Unrestricted CSL. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple trades. Ability to collaborate with in-house design and factory teams. Physically able to lift 50 lbs. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Location:
Projects are currently in Somerville and Devens. Reporting:
