Overview
Product Manager- Systems Engineer (Experienced or Lead) at Boeing. This role involves product management and systems engineering responsibilities within Government Training Engineering, with locations to include Hazelwood, MO or Berkeley, MO. Travel may be required; domestically and/or internationally depending on business needs. This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance and U.S. citizenship. Position Responsibilities
Primary point of contact for all engineering aspects of the product Understand the big picture and the inter-relationships of all positions and activities in the system, including the impact of changes in one area on another area Knowledge of various engineering disciplines such as electrical, mechanical, and systems. Communicate with technical personnel from multiple skill areas and functions to evaluate technical information and issues impacting design, production, and support of products, services, or other deliverables Collaborate with the technical leadership team consisting of Chief engineers, system architects and other product managers Manage product release schedules and release activities Develop the Statement of Work (SOW) and estimates to meet customer requirements Coordinate with program management and engineering teams to develop and maintain execution plans Track execution progress and provide guidance for adjustments where necessary Work with the supplier management team to monitor and track supplier performance Identify risks, issues, and opportunities, and develop mitigation or execution plans Ensure the product is complete prior to delivering to the customer Qualifications
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited program in engineering, engineering technology (including manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science Prior engineering experience including one or more of the following: systems engineering, software engineering, hardware engineering, or project engineering Technical understanding and experience with one or more of the following: Engineering Project Management, Project Planning, Leading Agile Teams, Product Development, Earned Value Management Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Level 3: 5 or more years of related work experience or equivalent education/experience Level 4: 9 or more years of related work experience or equivalent education/experience Leadership experience in engineering or leading work and driving teams to success Active U.S. Security Clearance Typical Education/Experience:
Experienced, Level 3: typically 5 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience. ABET accreditation is preferred but not required in the USA. Lead, Level 4: typically 9 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience. ABET accreditation is preferred but not required in the USA. Additional Information

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required. Drug Free Workplace
