What to Expect
As a Commercial Field Service Electrician, you will be empowered to work across the entire Tesla organization to problem solve and ensure the success of our commercial energy field service execution. You will diagnose, troubleshoot, and perform preventive and corrective maintenance services to Tesla's commercial products such as solar PV systems, energy storage, and electric vehicle charging stations.
What You'll Do
Perform required preventive maintenance activities on commercial inverters to maintain warranty coverage
Respond to corrective maintenance cases on all commercial energy products and updating online case logs accurately
Work closely with members of the Operations Engineering Systems Reliability team to respond to open case directions and provide data where requested
Report writing, where required, to comply with deliverables in commercial O&M contracts
Respond to customers' concerns with the performance or functionality of their system
What You'll Bring
Valid Journeyman Electrician card within the state employee is assigned
Ability to navigate NEC guidelines and knowledge of NFPA 70E practices
Previous electrical trades experience working with power/hand tools, electrical equipment, isolation meters and multimeters
Ability to travel to numerous sites daily and travel up to 2 weeks at a time with short notice and flexibility to work on weekends and overtime
Ability to work at great heights, work in extreme environments, perform prolonged periods of repetitious duties, lift at least 50 pounds frequently
Valid driver's license required

Licensed Electrician I, Ratio - $25.56 - $38.34/hour
Licensed Electrician II, Ratio - $30.35 - $45.52/hour
+ cash and stock awards + benefits for all levels
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
