Ocean Psychological Services is recruiting a Behavior Technician to provide 1:1 ABA therapy under the supervision of a BCBA. The role focuses on delivering therapy, data collection, and supporting client growth within a collaborative team dedicated to professional development and positive outcomes. Location and Schedule

Location: Ocean Psychological Services | Buena Park, California Job Type: Part-Time, hourly Availability: Minimum 15 hours per week between 3:00 PM and 8:00 PM, with flexibility for weekend shifts if needed. Inability to meet this availability may affect eligibility. Base Pay

Base pay range: $25.00/hr - $29.00/hr Responsibilities

Deliver direct Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy based on individualized client goals and treatment plans. Collect, document, and analyze data during sessions to monitor progress and guide treatment decisions. Attend client team meetings, mandatory quarterly staff meetings, and professional development workshops. Create and utilize instructional materials to support therapy goals. Facilitate individual and small group social skills training sessions when appropriate. Maintain timely communication, including checking and responding to company emails on business days. Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications

High school diploma or GED (required). Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification (preferred). Prior experience or strong understanding of ABA principles and techniques (preferred). Strong data collection, time management, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively and respectfully with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds. Must be able to provide a minimum of 15 hours of weekly availability between 3:00 PM and 8:00 PM (with flexibility to support weekend shifts if needed). Physical Requirements

Ability to sit, stand, walk, and actively engage during therapy sessions. Ability to stoop, kneel, bend, and lift up to 30 pounds as needed to support client activities. Sufficient vision and hearing to monitor client safety and engagement. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Compensation and Benefits

Hourly Pay Range: $25.00 - $29.00 per hour (based on experience and qualifications). Paid sick leave (in accordance with California state and local laws).
