Business System Coach: Coach the deployment and maturity of the Woodward Production System for the Value Stream Develop a Problem-Solving Culture: Promote a culture where employees at all levels embrace problem-solving as a daily practice Develop Leaders as Coaches: Provide training, tools, and guidance to help leaders within the Value Stream become effective coaches who empower their teams and support development Strategic Partnership: Share ownership of overall performance with Value Stream leaders to ensure alignment and accountability in executing operational goals Align Goals Across the Value Stream: Cascade site-level objectives through all value stream departments, teams, and individuals Key Skills

Technical Expertise: Proficiency with the Woodward Production System (WPS) Coaching Expertise: Strong understanding of coaching principles for leaders at all levels Problem-Solving: Knowledge of structured methodologies (A3, PDCA, root cause analysis) Facilitation Skills: Ability to facilitate training, improvement workshops and Kaizen activities Collaborative Relationship Building: Work effectively with leaders across functions Strategic Alignment: Translate site objectives to value stream deliverables (SQDC) Continuous Improvement Tools & Processes: 5S, Visual Management, Standardized Work, Daily Management, Flow/Pull, Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen Empathy and Emotional Intelligence Safe Environment for Experimentation: Encourage surfacing problems and testing ideas Standardize and Sustain Improvements Other Qualifications

Bachelors (BA/BS) in Management/Technical Field; Master’s degree preferred Professional experience in a manufacturing environment or military Demonstrated success in Lean/Six Sigma Prior leadership experience in manufacturing preferred Green Belt/Black Belt certification; current or obtained within 1 year of starting Up to 20% domestic and international travel Legal and Equal Opportunity
