Provide 1-on-1 online tutoring in Electrical and Computer Engineering. Adapt lessons to different learning styles and student needs. Explain complex concepts clearly and engage students with effective teaching strategies. Plan and deliver personalized instruction, track progress, and adjust as needed. Qualifications
Strong communication skills and a friendly, engaging teaching style. Expertise in Electrical and Computer Engineering and ability to explain concepts clearly. Ability to personalize lessons and adapt to different learning styles. Prior tutoring or teaching experience and graduate-level education preferred. Benefits and Pay
Base contract rates start at $18/hour and can increase for specialized subjects, with the potential to reach up to $40/hour with the same student. Get paid up to twice per week for tutoring sessions you conduct and invoice. Set your own hours and tutor as much as you’d like. Tutor remotely using the Live Learning Platform—no commuting required. AI-powered Tutor Copilot can provide real-time support, lesson generation, and engagement features to save prep time. We handle the logistics—you invoice for sessions and we handle payments. Please note: Varsity Tutors does not contract with tutors in: Alaska, California, Colorado, Delaware, Hawaii, Maine, New Hampshire, North Dakota, Vermont, West Virginia, or Puerto Rico.
