Base pay range: $42.00/hr - $50.00/hr Salary information shown below is a general guideline; salaries are based on experience and qualifications. The wage range for this position is $42.00 - $50.00/hour depending on experience. Key Responsibilities
Assist in the design and development of water and wastewater treatment systems, including process modeling, equipment selection, and preparation of engineering drawings and specifications Support the preparation of technical reports, and cost estimates for water treatment projects Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on civil, mechanical, and process design tasks related to treatment facilities and infrastructure Perform calculations related to hydraulics, chemical dosing, and process performance under the supervision of senior engineers Maintain current knowledge of regulatory requirements, environmental standards, and emerging treatment technologies Ensure designs and deliverables comply with company quality standards and applicable codes and regulations Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering Successful completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering (F.E.) exam 0–4 years of experience in process design, construction, or operation of water and/or wastewater treatment systems Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-based environment Preferred Qualifications
M.S. in Chemical, Mechanical or Civil Engineering 40-hour HAZWOPER certification 40-hour MSHA certification Technical Skills and Abilities
Engineering design, including process, mechanical, piping, and pumping systems Basic cost estimating Exposure to procurement and construction specifications Interpersonal Skills
