We are seeking a talented
Mechanical Design Engineer
to support the development, analysis, and integration of mechanical systems for defense applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in CAD design, mechanical simulations, and manufacturing processes, with a focus on delivering robust, reliable, and mission-critical solutions. Responsibilities
Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies using CAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA, Creo). Perform mechanical analysis including stress, thermal, vibration, and tolerance analysis using FEA/CFD tools. Collaborate with electrical, systems, and software teams to ensure seamless integration of mechanical and electromechanical systems. Support prototyping, testing, and validation of mechanical designs in lab and field environments. Create and maintain detailed design documentation, drawings, and specifications. Ensure designs comply with industry standards, safety requirements, and reliability criteria. Participate in design reviews and provide technical guidance on manufacturability, assembly, and cost optimization. Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues during development, testing, and production. Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. 3–7 years of experience in mechanical design, preferably in defense, aerospace, or high-reliability systems. Proficiency in 3D CAD modeling and drafting. Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles, material properties, and manufacturing processes. Experience with FEA/CFD analysis and simulation tools. Knowledge of thermal, vibration, and stress analysis methodologies. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
