Miscellaneous Iron / Structural Steel Estimator
Structural Steel Renovation, Miscellaneous Iron and Steel Stair Contractor, in business over 120 years, is seeking an estimator. Our fast paced Long Island City Office handles multimillion dollar new construction projects as well as extensive commercial renovations.
Responsibilities
Qualified candidates must be able to translate the specifications of architectural and structural client drawings into a detailed estimate including costs for material, shop fabrication and especially field erection.
This position also requires the ability to handle multiple projects, work to a deadline and communicate effectively with clients.
CAD not required.
Qualifications
Experience in these specific trades is not required. We are willing to train candidates with a construction background and strong analytical skills.
