This role supports a major telecommunications client in the Southwest and offers the opportunity to lead and mentor a team of engineers and technicians while ensuring optimal building operations and maintenance. Based in Phoenix, Los Angeles, or Las Vegas. This is a fantastic opportunity to leverage your operations management expertise within a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership: Provide formal supervision to a team of engineers and technicians across the Southwest region, including performance management, coaching, training and development, and overseeing recruitment and hiring. Operational Excellence: Schedule and manage daily activities, establish work schedules, assign tasks, and facilitate cross-training; ensure deadlines are met with mentorship as needed. Vendor Management: Coordinate facility repairs and maintenance with technicians, vendors, and contractors; oversee relationships and invoicing, including reviewing quotes. Client Management: Maintain positive client relationships and conduct meetings on unresolved facility issues. Financial Management: Prepare and manage capital projects, operating budgets, and variance reports. Compliance and Safety: Perform facility inspections and QA, adhering to regulations; manage environmental health and safety procedures for facilities. Process Improvement: Identify operational efficiencies, suggest repairs and upgrade opportunities, and conduct training on maintenance, repairs, and safety best practices. Leadership and Influence: Lead by example, model CBRE RISE values, and influence stakeholders to reach agreements. Problem Solving: Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve day-to-day and moderately complex issues. What You Will Bring

Education & Experience: Bachelor’s Degree preferred with 3-5 years of relevant experience; in lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered. Licenses & Certifications: Valid driver's license required; Facility Management certification preferred. Leadership & Management: Experience in staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention preferred. Communication: Ability to guide the exchange of sensitive information, convey performance expectations, and handle problems. Skills: Leadership to motivate team; strong organizational skills and analytical mindset; advanced math and financial calculations. Travel: This role requires travel within the Southwest region. Legal Authorization: Candidates must possess legal authorization to work in the United States to be considered for this role. The pay range for this Operations Manager position is $80,000 to $95,000 annually. This range is based on factors including experience, education, skills, certifications, and internal equity. Actual compensation will be determined based on qualifications and experience, as well as the overall budget for the position. DOE (Depends on Experience).
