Aerospace Customer Service Engineer (Contract)
to join our Engineering department based in Mobile, AL. You will be part of the Service Bulletin Customer Support team, delivering and supporting value-added solutions to maintain aircraft airworthiness and improve Airbus customers' operations and profitability. This role provides support to the Service Bulletin business and liaises with customers (airlines) to ensure the best interest of Airbus and its customers. Meet The Team

The Engineering Center in Mobile, Alabama houses hundreds of Airbus engineers who assist in the design and development of Airbus commercial aircraft cabins, including aftermarket upgrades and services of all product types across the globe. Your Challenges
Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of Service Bulletins (SBs) across all Airbus programs. Facilitate communication and collaboration with program teams and other departments in Europe to ensure effective SB implementation. Gather and consolidate inputs from various stakeholders to make informed SB decisions. Participate in weekly follow-up meetings with European and local counterparts to discuss progress and issues. Demonstrate strong communication skills for engaging with customers. Analyze and prioritize airlines' input to make optimal SB-related decisions. Ensure alignment of work practices with SB processes and other programs. Provide support for internal and external improvement projects related to SB products, processes, and tools. Identify potential customer needs and incorporate them into decision-making. Collaborate with Airbus teams to facilitate communication and coordination. Capture and relay customer feedback to the Airbus Customer Service organization for continuous improvement. Support quality initiatives within the Airbus Customer Services organization. Report monthly KPI results and identify areas for improvement. Your Boarding Pass / Qualifications
Bachelor\'s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Aerospace, Electrical or Civil). 0-6 years of engineering experience. Travel: 10% (Domestic and International). US Person under ITAR definition (U.S. Citizen, green card holder or person covered under ITAR license). Authorized to work in the US. Proficiency with G Suite. Team-oriented with ability to work across departments locally and internationally. Ability to read/write/speak English and communicate effectively with internal and external customers. Strong listening and speaking skills with all levels of management. Clear and professional written communication with stakeholders. Ability to represent Engineering in presentations at Airbus-related activities. Basic knowledge of the Service Bulletin process. Preferred
Master\'s Degree in Engineering; Minor in Computer Science. Experience in aircraft customer service (airline, MRO, maintenance). Airbus program experience (A380, A350, LR, SA, WB). Data analysis skills. Physical Requirements
Onsite or remote: 60% onsite, 40% remote. Vision, hearing, speaking requirements as described in daily job responsibilities. Ability to operate office equipment and to lift/carry up to 30 lbs (14 kg). Travel as required; ability to walk and stand as part of daily job. Personal Protective Equipment as required by site or customer site. This role requires US Person status under ITAR definition. This position is a temporary (contract) position.
