What to Expect
The Cathode maintenance team is expanding its scope of responsibility to include design, maintenance, installation, and management of all aspects of new manufacturing lines to support the overall mission of accelerating the world's transition to sustainable energy. You will work closely with internal stakeholders (infrastructure, equipment design team, process design team, automation, purchasing, and program management) and external contractors and vendors to deliver an integrated manufacturing solution.
What You’ll Do
Develop, implement & review preventative maintenance plans for instrumentation and electrical manufacturing equipment
Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, instrumentation, and software manufacturing issues; generate repair plans & design upgrades
Identify and evaluate internal & external resources including design, panel manufacturing, construction and maintenance
Design, implement & validate equipment safety systems per regional and internal codes and standards
Coordinate, schedule and manage instrumentation and low voltage electrical maintenance activities
Identify impacts to schedule and develop/implement mitigations to correct
What You’ll Bring
Degree or Equivalent Experience in Electrical or Mechatronics Engineering or a related field
5+ years of industry experience in electrical engineering
Proficiency designing & maintaining electrical schematics in EPLAN Electric P8
Knowledge in electrical designs for different regions including NFPA standards or equivalent (local voltage usage, regulations, governing bodies)
Proven experience in large scale construction management
Experience in safety management with respect to electrical installations & inspections (LOTO, commissioning procedures, isolation plans, arc flash PPE)
Experience creating project documentation, drawings, inspection plans, etc.
Knowledgeable on process instrumentation; control valves, level, temperature & pressure transmitters, analog and digital signaling, gas analysis
