$136.80/hr - $140.90/hr Qualifications
Required Certification: American Board of Radiology (ABR) Required Skills and Experience: High Dose Rate (HDR) brachytherapy Stereotactic Radiosurgery (SRS) Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy (SBRT) Total Body Irradiation (TBI) Intraoperative Radiation Therapy (IORT) The candidate should be experienced in handling standard radiation cases with a higher volume of breast and prostate cases. Additional experience with lung, hepatobiliary, brain, multiple myeloma, sarcomas, and other types of cancer is also required. Key Responsibilities
Perform quality assurance, calibration, and repairs of radiation therapy equipment. Communicate and collaborate with the radiation oncology team regarding equipment status. Develop a mutual plan of action for anticipated equipment downtime. Conduct daily radiation therapy treatments, ensuring principal functions such as calibration and quality assurance are performed after normal business hours. Engage with outside vendors as necessary for equipment repairs. Perform any additional duties necessary for the optimal performance of the Department of Physics. Job details
