Overhead Crane Service Technician II Location:
Minneapolis, MN The Service Technician II will travel to customer production facilities to inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and modify electric overhead bridge cranes and related material handling equipment. Responsibilities
Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and modify electric overhead bridge cranes and related material handling equipment at customer production facilities. Show the leadership required to manage projects with multiple technicians performing several different tasks. Perform runway surveys. Perform structural upgrades, re-span of crane, runway repairs, etc. Minimum Qualifications
1-2 years of crane service technician experience. Proficient in troubleshooting all electrical controls related to overhead cranes – AC, DC, static step-less, and variable frequency drives Proficient in troubleshooting all mechanical components of an overhead crane Proficient in the ability to read and understand prints and drawings Ability to read prints and drawings Physical Requirements
Ability to stand/walk 95% of the workday. Lift/Carry up to 40-50 pounds unassisted. Squat, twist, reach, climb, and bend frequently. Ability to push/pull material with equipment assistance. Hand/eye coordination and bilateral dexterity (gross and fine). Depth perception and peripheral vision. Ability to hear. Working Conditions
Subject to working frequently at considerable heights. Exposure to hot and cold conditions. Benefits Available
