Pediatric Occupational Therapist

Play2Learn Pediatric Therapy is a company that provides evidence-based care through fun and meaningful experiences for children. Role Description We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will work with patients to develop personalized care plans aimed at improving their ability to perform daily activities. This role requires expertise in various therapeutic techniques and a deep understanding of human physiology, anatomy, and the specific needs of diverse patient populations, including pediatrics and those with autism. The Occupational Therapist will provide care in various settings, including home health and acute care environments. Responsibilities

Assess patients' physical, emotional, and social needs to develop individualized care plans. Implement therapeutic interventions to enhance patients' functional abilities. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care. Educate patients and their families on treatment plans and strategies for improvement. Document patient progress and modify care plans as necessary based on ongoing assessments. Provide support for patients with autism and other developmental disorders through tailored therapeutic approaches. Maintain a safe and supportive environment for all patients during therapy sessions. Experience / Qualifications

Proven experience in occupational therapy, preferably in inpatient or home health settings. Strong knowledge of physiology and anatomy relevant to patient care practices. Experience working with pediatric populations is highly desirable. Familiarity with developing care plans that address the unique needs of each patient. Ability to assist patients effectively while fostering independence in their daily activities. Experience in acute care settings is a plus, demonstrating adaptability to various healthcare environments. Job Types
