We are hiring a Customer Care Specialist to join our team, which plays a crucial role in shaping Grubhub’s strategy and leadership’s understanding of the business environment and competitive landscape. We are seeking curious innovators who are excited about contributing to new and impactful business initiatives on a fun and dynamic team. This role reports to a Manager, Care. Respond to contacts accurately and professionally via phone, chat, or email in a courteous and attentive manner with minimum supervision Attention to detail: tracking and collecting data from multiple sources simultaneously, while navigating more complex issues Act as a collaborator: provide feedback, recommend opportunities, and record data for the Competitive Intelligence team What You Bring To The Table
High School Diploma or GED required 2+ years of customer service or call center experience Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate clearly, appropriately and professionally with clients/internal audiences at all levels Flexible hours, including weekend availability Ability to work and solve problems independently Motivated to engage and contribute in group process improvement meetings Detail-oriented with a knack for problem-solving; identifying root causes, customer needs, and providing solutions quickly and efficiently in real-time Highly developed sense of integrity, passion for excellence, and commitment to customer satisfaction Possess a strong work ethic and team player mentality Strong computer skills with the ability to quickly learn new software Positive attitude, reliable with good attendance and punctuality, operational know-how, team spirit, and commitment to the job Compensation and Perks
Hourly rates by location: Illinois: $19.45/hr Arizona: $17.30/hr Remote (geo-based): $17.30/hr - $21.65/hr Note: Wonder uses geographic-specific salary structures; final pay varies based on location and candidate qualifications.
