Originate, qualify, secure, negotiate, and execute Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) for wind, solar, and battery projects, driving forward RWE’s commercial ambitions. Lead the response to RFPs and develop robust relationships with customers, representing RWE in all key commercial interactions. Coordinate terms and conditions of all contracts, collaborating closely with Legal, Finance, Development, Engineering, Construction, and Operations to ensure compliance and alignment. Secure all required internal approvals, managing the full contract lifecycle and ensuring senior management sign-off for each transaction. Provide strategic market and energy marketing insights—leveraging your understanding of renewable policies, REC values, energy curves, and congestion—to inform project development and customer targeting. Represent RWE at industry events and keep stakeholders updated on business developments, fostering visible leadership and cross-departmental alignment. Job Requirements And Experience
Professional experience in PPA origination, structured transactions, or energy contract negotiation in the US power or similar markets Proven ability to manage and execute commercial agreements in renewables (wind, solar, storage) Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, comfortable in a commercial, outward-facing role Good understanding of US energy markets, contracting principles, and regulatory context Analytical mindset with attention to detail and a solutions-oriented approach Courage to take initiative and contribute ideas in a fast-paced team, while fostering collaboration and delivering results Your Benefits
