We’re a fast-growing healthtech startup transforming how hospitals use data to drive operational and clinical improvement. We’re looking for a
Healthcare Data Integration Engineer
who can partner with hospital IT teams to aggregate data from Epic and other EHR systems, transform it, and deliver it securely to our analytics platform. You’ll work at the intersection of engineering, data, and healthcare operations — designing reliable pipelines, solving real-world data challenges, and directly enabling insights that improve patient care and hospital performance. What You’ll Do
Design, build, and maintain
data extraction and integration pipelines
for EHR and clinical systems (Epic, Cerner, Meditech, SIS, HST, etc.). Partner with hospital data and IT teams to
ingest, clean, validate, and map
data to internal schemas. Develop and optimize
ETL processes and SQL/Python scripts
for efficient and scalable data movement. Collaborate with internal product and engineering teams to
resolve data integration issues
and improve onboarding workflows. Build internal tools or automation scripts to streamline
data validation and ingestion . Support data quality assurance and reconciliation between client source systems and internal analytics environments. What We’re Looking For
3+ years
of experience in data engineering or healthcare data integration. Hands-on experience with
EHR data
(Epic, Cerner, Meditech, SIS, or similar). Strong proficiency in
SQL, Python, and data transformation frameworks
(Airflow, dbt, Informatica, etc.). Working knowledge of
FHIR, HL7, CCD, ADT , and related healthcare data standards. Ability to collaborate effectively with both
technical and clinical stakeholders . Familiarity with
cloud data platforms
(Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery) is a plus. Nice to Have
Experience with
Epic Clarity, Caboodle, or Bridges . Epic certification or healthcare interoperability certification. Background in healthcare analytics or performance improvement data. Understanding of supplies, OR and other cost data at hospitals Why Join Us
