Responsibilities
Lead the development of conceptual and schematic cost estimates for engineering, construction, and integrated delivery projects. Utilize historical data, quantity take-offs, unit pricing, and systems/line count methodologies. Present cost models and estimates to internal teams and clients, ensuring transparency and trust. Collaborate with project managers, design teams, and clients to align estimates with project scope and financial targets. Manage and coordinate trade or discipline estimators to produce detailed estimates including labor, materials, and other cost components. Conduct risk analyses from both CRB and client perspectives. Maintain and update historical cost data and benchmarking tools. Support the conversion of opportunities into active projects during the pre-construction phase. Mentor junior estimators and contribute to the development of estimating standards and tools within the region. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field. Minimum 10–15 years of experience in multi-discipline estimating, preferably within life sciences, food & beverage, industrial, or commercial sectors. Strong understanding of design-build and integrated project delivery methods. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in estimating software and tools (e.g., WinEst, Sage Estimating, or similar). Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Willingness to travel regionally as needed. Preferred Skills
Experience with construction logistics planning, schedule development, and constructability reviews. Familiarity with CRB’s core markets and project types. Leadership experience in mentoring and managing estimating teams. Additional Information
