The work location is hybrid, meaning it will be performed both from home and from a LinkedIn office on select days, as determined by the business needs of the team. Manage, evolve, and document the LinkedIn Design System Design, refine, and maintain high-quality UI components across multiple platforms Create, document, and evangelize UX patterns and best practices Partner with designers, engineers, researchers, and accessibility experts to ensure inclusive and accessible design Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to integrate design system components and patterns into product development Contribute to prototyping and experimentation with emerging tools, including AI-assisted design workflows Uphold quality standards and promote consistency across all LinkedIn products Basic Qualifications
6+ years of professional experience in Product Design, with direct hands-on work in Design Systems Bachelor’s degree in Design, HCI, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent professional experience Strong expertise in Figma (variables, libraries, tokens, and system architecture) Proven ability to design and document reusable components and UX patterns Experience with accessibility standards and inclusive design practices Solid understanding of systems thinking and product design execution Proven experience in managing product migration from an existing design system to a new version Preferred Qualifications
Experience collaborating with software engineers on UI frameworks and implementation Familiarity with front-end technologies and ability to bridge design and engineering Experience working on accessibility-focused projects Strong communication skills and ability to influence cross-functional partners Enthusiasm for exploring new design tools and workflows, including AI-assisted design Suggested Skills
