$100,000.00/yr - $120,000.00/yr This is a
hybrid
position based out of our Chicago office, with an expectation of three days per week of in-office collaboration. We have a strong preference for candidate based in the Chicagoland area and able to work in a hybrid capacity (3 days/week) from our Chicago office, but we are open to considering highly qualified remote candidates for this position. Responsibilities
Customer Relationship & Performance Management: Build and manage direct relationships with retailer replenishment and inventory partners, acting as the primary supply chain expert for their needs. Own and drive performance against key customer metrics, including On-Shelf Availability (OSA), In-stock %, On-Time-In-Full (OTIF), and forecast accuracy. Identify and mitigate risks to in-stock levels, recommending opportunities to protect sales and ensure total customer satisfaction. Internal Collaboration & Leadership: Act as the key supply chain liaison in the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process, translating customer demand into accurate forecasts. Collaborate closely with internal Sales, Marketing, Brand, and Finance teams to align on promotional strategies, inventory positions, and resolve customer-specific issues. Manage the delivery of a customer-focused supply plan that supports the overall growth strategy. Operational Execution & Analysis: Manage daily, weekly, and monthly operational reporting for both customers and internal teams, highlighting key findings and performance. Utilize customer databases and portals to analyze SKU data, sales trends, and promotional impact to optimize the demand plan. Oversee the weekly purchase order and fulfillment process, ensuring accuracy in tracking and financial reporting. Plan and execute new product launches, planogram changes, and other code changes at the retailer. Systems & Process Management: Handle THG processing, DA item setups, GNFR purchase orders, and maintain specialized files. Lead end-to-end display setup by coordinating with UK and US teams using STEP for display code creation and finalization. Ensure timely stock movements from DA to co-packer in SAP (before month-end), gather Bills of Lading, and manage invoice creation and submission to Accounts Receivable, including US Finance visibility. Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in Supply Chain or Operations management, preferably in a customer-facing role. Fundamental understanding of demand planning, forecasting processes, and inventory management systems. Proven experience working with cross-functional teams and leading collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to perform both micro and macro-level analysis. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required; strong skills in the full Microsoft Office Suite. Direct experience with the operations of third-party mass retailers. APICS certification (or similar) is beneficial. A self-starter with a strong commercial awareness and the ability to work with minimal daily supervision.
