What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Lead search and evaluation for external partnerships in small molecule drug discovery and oncology technologies
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align with broader business goals
Manage the identification of opportunities through networking and external landscape reviews
Conduct technical evaluations and facilitate decision-making processes for potential partnerships
Mentor team members and present findings to senior management and other stakeholders
What is Required (Qualifications)
Doctorate degree in a scientific field & 4 years of experience in drug development industry and/or biopharma business development, or
Master’s degree in a scientific field & 7 years of experience in drug development industry and/or biopharma business development, or
Bachelor’s degree in a scientific field & 9 years of experience in R&D and/or biopharma business development
Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and interface with staff across varying functional expertise
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
4+ years of management and/or leadership experience in business and drug development
Strong knowledge in discovery and technology platforms
Excellent presentation and problem-solving skills
Proven ability to establish relationships with internal and external parties
Professional demeanor with strong decision-making capabilities
