Senior Project Engineer - Warehouse/Automated Guided Vehicle Systems
Accentuate Staffing is assisting a growing pharmaceutical company in the Rocky Mount area who is hiring a Senior Project Manager to specialize in Warehouse and Automated Guided Vehicle (AGV) Systems. This is a direct hire opportunity offering excellent benefits, bonus, and growth potential.
Responsibilities:
Sr Project Engineer will lead capital investment initiatives and master plan projects
Project Engineer will provide subject matter expertise in automated warehouse infrastructure, AGV deployment and intralogistics optimization
Project Engineer will lead project execution across the project lifecycle, coordinating with teams, consultants, suppliers, managing the design phases
Project Engineer will oversee warehouse and AGV automation packages, racking systems, conveyors, WMS integration, etc.
Project Engineer will support commissioning of AGV fleets and warehouse systems, validation protocols, and integration into SOP, PM, and QMS
Project Engineer will ensure warehouse and AGV documentation adheres to GDP standards and FDA, OSHA, and ISO compliance
Project Engineer will develop and manage engineering documentation, layout drawings, traffic flow maps, and validation protocols
Requirements:
Candidates must have a Bachelors degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
Candidates must have 7 plus years engineering experience, with 3 plus years in capital project management
Candidates must have a strong knowledge of warehouse automation, AGV technology, and Material Handling systems
Candidates must be proficient in AutoCAD, warehouse layout planning, and AGV fleet management software
Candidates must have prior experience in a pharmaceutical environment with knowledge of hygiene design, GMP logistics, and validation practices
