Responsibilities As a Facilities Construction Manager, you will lead the development, implementation, enhancement and administration of the regional facility programs with a primarily focus on our Massachusetts' sites. Reporting to the Global Director of Facilities, this position will actively manage all Facility site modifications, utility upgrades, and infrastructure improvements to assure proper implementation/alignment of policies, procedures and programs that promote well managed and well-maintained properties.

Develop, manage, and lead Facility projects collaborating with stakeholders to understand local and corporate strategies.

Lead the development of construction and facilities project budgets, including cost estimation for materials, labor, equipment, and contingency planning.

Monitor and manage capital expenditure (CapEx) and operational expenditure (OpEx) budgets throughout the project lifecycle.

Ensure alignment with corporate financial policies and reporting standards, including CPA/CER/CEA documentation and approval processes.

Collaborate with finance and procurement teams to track actuals vs. forecasts and implement corrective actions as needed.

Develop procedures and standards to support future projects as part of continuous improvement initiatives.

Collaborate with Finance on Infrastructure Improvement Plans and budget tracking.

Build partnerships with third-party vendors, service providers, and contractors, while ensuring most cost-effective methods are being used.

Support the EHS team on related site requirements and to strengthen the organizational culture of safety, ownership, accountability and continuous improvement.

Manage and develop the Facility-CSR and sustainability initiatives and associated data analytics.

Oversee space allocation and layout activities, and facilities expansion/consolidation projects.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required. Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or Project Management preferred

5-10 years of experience in managing construction and renovation projects, including laboratory and manufacturing facilities.

Proven ability to oversee site modifications, utility upgrades, and infrastructure improvements in compliance with regulatory and operational standards.

Excellent communication skills working on a cross-functional team

Travel Requirements: Up to 20 % of Travel is required.

Compensation and Benefits

Pay Range: $130-180k annually. This range is a good faith estimate of the expected salary range for this position, based on a wide range of factors including qualifications, experience and training, operational and business needs and other considerations permitted by law. At MKS, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for the role.

Bonus: This position is eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, in an amount to be determined by MKS [or as applicable].
