Multisite Supervisor for After-School Program Neighborhood House is a non-profit agency providing social services for children, families, seniors, and people experiencing food and housing insecurity. We operate after-school programs at multiple sites and serve children ages 5–12. The Multisite Supervisor is responsible for the daily operation and overall success of two licensed after-school program sites, ensuring high-quality, inclusive programming that aligns with state licensing regulations, partner agreements, and the organization’s mission.

Responsibilities

Leadership & Program Oversight: Serve as a core member of the School Age Leadership Team, collaborate on program planning, strategic visioning, and continuous quality improvement; lead day-to-day operations of two licensed after-school sites; maintain a strong, responsive presence at sites during program hours.

Staff Supervision, Coaching & Professional Development: Hire, train, supervise, and mentor site-based staff and volunteers; conduct regular check-ins; design and deliver professional development on SEL, PBIS, restorative practices, and trauma-informed care; provide one-on-one coaching and modeling as needed; co-plan and co-facilitate staff meetings and trainings.

Social-Emotional Learning & Student Support: Provide ongoing coaching to staff on SEL strategies; monitor behavior and SEL trends; conduct on-site observations and implement individualized strategies; collaborate to develop behavior support toolboxes; ensure trauma-informed, inclusive environments.

Family Engagement & Communication: Serve as primary contact for family engagement at both sites; partner with families to develop child success plans; attend parent-teacher and family events; maintain accurate documentation of family communications and progress notes.

School & Community Collaboration: Act as liaison to school principals and staff; participate in PPS and partner meetings; represent Neighborhood House at partner meetings and community events.

Operations, Compliance & Quality Assurance: Ensure adequate staffing; respond promptly to incidents and concerns; coordinate with state licensor for licensing compliance; maintain training requirements and Oregon Registry Online records; support grant writing, compliance reporting, and quality improvement initiatives.

Supervisory responsibilities: Supervise up to 3 direct reports and 7 indirect reports, providing coaching, setting goals, and promoting a positive, inclusive team culture.

Minimum Requirements

3 years of experience in program coordination, working with youth

3 years of experience supervising staff, preferably in childcare or educational settings; or equivalent combination of education and experience

At least 5 years of experience working with children ages 5–12

College degree or certificates in child development, behavior management, and teacher coaching

Food Handler’s card and CPR/First Aid certification to be obtained within 30 days of hire (Neighborhood House covers the cost)

Registration in the Oregon Central Background Registry prior to hire

Requires own vehicle, valid driver’s license, acceptable car insurance, and a clean 3-year driving history

Qualifications

Ability to plan, implement, and manage short- and long-term projects

Ability to work effectively with diverse communities and communicate with individuals who have limited English proficiency

Excellent verbal and written communication and professional interaction with families, service providers, and co-workers

Strong problem-solving, conflict resolution, and decision-making skills

Ability to handle confidential information professionally and work as part of a team

Ability to interpret policies, procedures, and contractual responsibilities

Knowledge of state licensing requirements and culturally agile practices for diverse teams
