COMPUTATIONAL OPTICS ENGINEER, SPACE LASERS (STARLINK) The Starlink Space Lasers team develops, produces, and deploys the most cutting-edge satellite free-space optical communication systems in the world. We are looking for engineers to contribute to the development of optical products and applications for the groundbreaking constellation of Starlink satellites. In this role, you will focus on defining and designing novel algorithms and methodologies to enhance our space-based imaging systems. Your work will directly contribute to mission-critical applications, including next-generation star tracking for precise navigation and optical metrology for high-accuracy measurements in space environments. This position requires a blend of theoretical expertise, practical implementation skills, and a passion for solving complex problems in real-time, resource-constrained systems.
