We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Project Engineer to join our thriving Commercial Construction team. This is a permanent position that offers the chance to work on large-scale, innovative projects within the commercial, healthcare, life sciences, hospital, and data center sectors. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in civil engineering, with a deep understanding of construction management and project planning tools. Oversee the planning, design, and construction of commercial, healthcare, life sciences, hospital, and data center projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget. Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure all project specifications and requirements are met. Utilize construction management software such as CMiC, Prolog, and Primavera to manage project schedules, costs, and resources. Utilize BIM tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, and Navisworks to create and manage 3D models of the project. Conduct site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards. Resolve any issues or delays that arise during the construction process, implementing solutions to prevent future occurrences. Provide regular updates to clients and upper management on project progress, including any changes to the timeline or budget. Participate in the training and development of junior engineers, providing guidance and support as needed. Qualifications
A bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. A master’s degree or professional certification is preferred. A minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial construction, with a focus on healthcare, life sciences, hospital or data center projects. Extensive experience with construction management software such as CMiC, Prolog, and Primavera. Proficiency in BIM tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, and Navisworks. Strong project management skills, with the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines. Excellent problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to resolve issues and implement effective solutions. Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with a diverse team of professionals. A commitment to maintaining a safe and compliant work environment.
