Provide immediate post-operative care to a variety of surgical patients, monitor vital signs, and manage symptoms of anesthesia. Administer prescribed medications and implement treatment plans as directed by medical staff. Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical teams to ensure seamless patient transition from the operating room to the PACU and discharge home. Educate patients and their families on post-operative care, including pain management, wound care, and potential complications. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with hospital policies and procedures. Qualifications
Associate’s Degree (ADN) or above in nursing. Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license. 1 year experience in a PACU, ICU, or a similar high-acuity setting preferred. BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team. Proficient in electronic medical record systems. Benefits
