The Electrophysiology (EP) Lab RN provides direct patient care during invasive cardiac electrophysiology procedures, including ablations, device implants (pacemakers, ICDs, loop recorders), and laser lead removal. Responsibilities include patient assessment, monitoring vital signs, administering medications, assisting physicians with procedures, and ensuring patient safety and comfort. Nurses participate in the roles of scrubbing, circulating and stimming. Qualifications
Current WA State RN license is required. 1 or more years of recent RN experience with acute care patients. CPR certification is required every two years or as specified by the work. Graduation from an accredited school of nursing approved by the Washington State Board of Nursing. Quarterly American Heart Association (AHA) Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) competency certification post-hire; ongoing competency is required through internal facility resources.
